Brendan Wixted is a Portuguese and Irish American photographer / director. After graduating with a BFA in Photography in 2013, he moved to New York City to pursue his career.
Although raised in a family of storytellers, Brendan discovered his love for photography through skateboarding where he began documenting friends and the culture behind it. Ultimately, that extended into his interest in fashion and led him to shoot for numerous editorial publications such as W, Vogue, Numero, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Puss Puss, V Man, and Wonderland. His commercial clients include Tom Ford, Neiman Marcus, New Balance, Omega, Valentino Beauty, Saks Fifth Avenue, Equinox, Malin and Goetz, New Era, and many more.
Brendan's relaxed and collaborative style leads to images made of ease and spontaneity - often being inspired by Americana and cinema with an imperfect approach.
He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
